இலங்கை அரசாங்கம் தந்த ஆலோசகர் பொறுப்பை நாராயண் மூர்த்தி நிராகரிததன்மூலம் தான் ஒரு சிறந்த மனிதர் என்பதை மீண்டும் நிருபித்துள்ளார் . அங்கு நம் சக தோழ்ர்கள் வாழ வழி இன்றி நடோடிகலாய் திரிகையில், இலங்கை அரசாங்கமோ தன்னை வளபடுத்திகொள்ள நம்மவரையே கொண்டு நம் கண்ணை பறிக்கும் செயலை வழக்கபடுத்திகொண்டுள்ளது. இத்தனை அறிந்தும் நம் நடுவண் அரசு நமக்கு எதிராய் இலங்கைக்கு உதவுகிறது, இவ்வேளையில் மூர்த்தி இலங்கைக்கு நல்ல மூக்கறுப்பு தந்துள்ளார். நடு நிலைமையாய் சிந்தித்து முடிவு எடுத்த அவரை வாழ்த்துவோமாக.

SlumDog Millionaire

There has been a hell lot of hype going around the world about SDM being projected as a original version of Indian slums, original script, original music bla bla bla. Several debate, comments has been fired from both side of critics including celebrities. One thing here i would like to bring on is AR's music score for SDM. People were saying that both songs and recording were reflecting the original music of India in SDM and it is the fully justifiable for nominations and awards. It is an appaling thing for me. AR is the same man who choired the music for Laagan and for me that is more Indianess than the SDM. If that music is not reflecting true indianness, then SDM is no where near the true music of India and its slum. I wonder, if laagan would have directed and made in English by an westener, then it could have bagged many more oscars. I am here not against AR or critizing his legendary skills, but the measurement differs so drastically for the same person is somewhat made me to think about whether it is worth to really consider the awards as a real metrics of one's geniousness.
